We would all love to see your picture of William. We have very few pictures of anyone born that early.
We are aware of the info in the 1911 Arkansas pension file about "John and Polly." John is right -- Mark Doss's father was John -- but I'm beginning to suspect that Polly (or Mary) is incorrect. That has led us all on a merry chase for years. I'm working a new angle, hoping to find proof of John's wife. They are from Buckingham Co. Va. and probably married there, but it is a burned-record county, so we may never know.
