John:
John William Doss born September 1, 1867/68, in Henderson Co. TN, son of Charles Wesley Doss and Mary E. Cottrell, grandson of John Wesley Doss and Sarah (1850 Census Decatur Co TN).
I don't have any proof, but I think John William Doss was married at least (3) times.

Do you know what Lizzie's maiden name was???
The 1900 Census says she is a sister-in-law of Ben Anderson.

My mother is still living and she is 82 years old. She calls John William Doss, Uncle Johnnie. She says he lived in Dyersburg, TN, but she never saw him much growing up.
Do you know when John William Doss died and where he might me buried?
There were other Doss in Dyer Co TN, but I have never been able to connect them.
I have lots of info on the Cottrell side I will give you later.
You said the information your Uncle gave you was confusing. Please tell me every little thing you know and have heard, it may tie into something I have.
