I am trying to locate information on my Doss connection. My greatgrandfather was William J. Doss (b.2/17/1874) of southeastern MO and his parents were James & Susan Doss. William lists his father as being from Indiana on census records. The only info I've found on James & Susan so far is a pension record from the Civil War (he may have been in the Union's 47th MO Infantry, Co. E). William's wife, my ggrandmother, was Rebecca Ellen Taylor (m. 3/31/1898).
