I have sent you an e-mail with more information on Richard Tinsley Peterman. I am trying to find out if there is any documentation regarding Rutha Peterman. The information that I have came from family sources, much of it from Hugh Peterman who had R. T. and Bettie's family Bible. I am going to check with my sister to see if that is where the information came from or if it came from other family correspondence.
Richard Tinsley Peterman said that his father (William Riley Peterman) told him that he was about six years old when his father died. Since William Riley was born Jan. 6, 1831, this would make George W. Peterman's date of death as 1836 or 1837. This is confusing since I also have the information from Cousin Bale Fancher Stone that George was 90 when his last child was born, but the information that I have is that Ambrose was born in 1827, William Riley in 1831 and Rutha in 1833.
