After reading your message I checked our Doss Family Association database. There were three women named Narcissa Doss from three separate Doss families, all of them from Georgia, and none closely related. All of them are too old to be yours, but any of them could have been her aunt. Then I looked at the map to see where your folks lived, and none of the families with women named Narcissa lived in that area to my knowledge. Can you obtain a death certificate or marriage license? That should name her parents. Or try to find her in the census? If you can find her father's name, we can probably tell you much more.
