I really don't know that much. Willie was married 1st to a Mr. Mayfield who apparently (I'm guessing) died between 1910 and 1920. Willie married 2nd a widower named William David Hastings (sometimes spelled Hasting) before the 1920 census. Willie had 2 possibly 3 children by Mr Mayfield, Billie had 10 children that I know with certainity by his 1st wife (and possible cousin) Mary Ann Hasting Hastings. They were married in 1889 in Limestone Co., AL and moved to Unionville, Dyer Co., TN ca 1906. I do not know specifically when Mary Ann died, but it was after the 1910 census. Generally it is thought she died in childbirth. Now Billy may have had a 2nd wife (possibly a Clem) who lived only a year or two after he married her. There is one child who may have been her child - I'm just not sure because a source or tell tells me that child may have been by Willie. After Billy and Willie were married they had 5 children.
I live in Wash DC and would be happy to exchange some census work or other data available to me for some data from Dyer and/or Lauderdale Co.

I didn't know what happened to William David and Mary Ann. No one alive in Limestone Co., AL knew where they moved. Once I found them I put together bits and pieces found in other rootsweb files and then got on the phone and started calling the Courthouse, the likely funeral homes, and other Limestone Co., AL Hastings descendents who live in Lauderdale Co., TN. I am most anxious to complete this line because I have a publication deadline to meet and lots of work to do on another 3 or 4 lines. Ruth
