My branch of the Doss family is from Lonejack, Campbell County, down the road from your brach. My Great grandmother EMILY FRANCES BURKE
was born in 1831 and died in 1913(?). She married JOHN BURKE WOOD who
was born in 1821 and died in 1912. They were married in March 1849.
They were married, christended in Lonejack. They had seven children:
Charles, Flournoy, Macon, Max, Walker, Robert Burke 1865, and my grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Wood (1873-1957). She was married to William Raymond Turpin, also of Lonejack, Campbell County. Any conenctions?
