I am looking for the DOSS family on my husbands side...
His maternal grandfather Wilburn Allen Dorris' mother was
Lizzie Ruth DOSS m Homer A DORRIS b Dec 27,1895 d October 9,1959. They had 2 children Wilburn & David
Lizzie Ruth Doss' parents were Weldon Marshall DOSS b April 19,1867 d 1940 m 1891 to Adeila Ann Gregory b 1874 d 1953.
They had 4 children Lizzie Ruth, Dewey Leroy DOSS b 1893 d 1945, William Green II DOSS b1893 d1945, & Knox Cato DOSS b1895 dJune 16,1991 in Westmoreland TN, Pleasant Grove Cem.
Weldon Marshall DOSS' parents were William Green DOSS (father John WIlliam DOSS) & Phebe Catherine Hodges (father Ezekiel C. Hodge)
They had 14 children:Andrew Clay, Catherine Gertrude, Colemand Luther, Hattie Rebecca Leona Elizabeth (1 name), Infant, Infant, John Rather, Lumizer Lillian, Martha Magnolia, Mary Dony, Ollie Sampson, Sollie Samuel, WIlliam Eldridge & Weldon Marshall.
