Hi Cousin x 2!
I imagine Mexico and Isaac were buried in different locations because Isaac Jr. had a second wife, Martha Jane (surname unknown to me.) Since he died some thirty-five years after Mexico died, I guess either 1.) there wasn't room by Mexico, 2.) or if Martha Jane outlived him, didn't want to bury him by his former wife. I don't know of children Isaac may have had with Martha Jane. I imagine it to have been a marriage of companionship.
Someone asked me recently if we were descended from the Hilliards, and if so, there was much available on that line. I don't have anything on the Hilliards beyond Anney/Janney Hilliard, do you?
Also, have you come across anything to document that Alenson Powell, Sr's father was John Powell. My information becomes very sketchy with the supposed parents of John being William Powell and wife Susannah. This William's parents were William Powell and Elizabeth. His father and grandfather were also William! (These ancestors had a sense of humor... seems they named their kids just to confuse us some two hundred years later!)
