James Dorsett md Elizabeth Kinnamon 1840

James Dorett md Elizabeth "Betsy" Kinnamon in Randolph Co., NC on 6 Aug 1840. They had children John "Jack"; Dorcas; Mary; Branson; and Grizella while still living in NC. They then relocated to Tippah Co., MS where more children were born - Alfred; James and Jabez. I last found James & Elizabeth on 1860 census until a recent search on the new LDS 1880 census index. On this index I found Elizabeth, Jabez and "Brantz" living in Alton, Madison, IL. A search of 1870 index found only John living in Alton. 1900 census search shows Alfred in Calhoun Co., IL; Brant in Jerseyville, IL; and Jabez in Alton, IL. Possibly married dtrs also migrated to IL; however, the only mg I know about is Mary to John B. Taylor in Tippah Co., MS 16 Dec 1859. John apparently died sometime between 1860 and 1880 as Elizabeth is listed as a widow. I hope someone is researching this family and will contact me. I have information on Elizabeth's Kinnamon family.
