Hi Tawney: I have info that Norman shared with me months go. According to Hall of Names, Dorning, is an anglicisation of the Irish surname O'Duirnin, also anglicised as Dornan and Durnan. Please don't shoot the messenger! Just giving our forum something to think (or debate) about.

Regards to All,
Jan
