Hi, I have Dorner (Darner) Muskingum County, Ohio. If I have traced it correctly, have a John Heinrich (Dorner) Darner (born 1722 Germany) son of (again not sure if correct) Strum Dorner. John Heinrich Dorner married Anna Maria Barbara Storm. Two children, that I can locate, were Johan Jacob Jr. Dorner (Darner) and the Jr. bothers me because I think the parents aren't correct. And, Johan Jacob has a one sister that I have located as Catherine. I have Catherine as marrying a Catrick. From Johan Jacob Jr. (Dorner) Darner, I am pretty sure everything is correct. Johan Jr. married Anna Catharine (Catherine) Biser (Beisser) and they had 10 children. Andrew John (born 1783 Middletown, Frederich County, Maryland. Andrew John is my Great-Great Grandfather. He married Hannah Yost and they had 11 children. (Very busy!). One of the children was Jacob Darner (born Muskingum County, Ohio 20 November 1815), he married Sarah Mary Ellen Bowers. They had 6 children that I know of. One being my Grand-father Lewis Damon, born 11 July 1901 Norwich, Union Township, Ohio. Can we make a connection? Sure hope so.
