My mother's surname is Weatherup, and one of her g-g-g-grandmothers was Jennie Dorman. Jennie's son, John Weatherup, was born abt. 1782 and died June 10, 1859. Some records indicate that John's name might have been John Wardrop. He is buried in the Kendrew Cemetery in St. Lawrence County, New York. Is there any information in the Dorman book about Dormans in New York State, or more specifically St. Lawrence County, who married into the Weatherup or Wardrop family? Any data or leads that you can provide will be greatly appreciate.
