I have more data on this family now. John d. prior to 11 Jun 1837 when Elizabeth remarried her to Strother LEE, her first cousin. Elizabeth JEWELL and John DORMAN had three known children, 1) James M. DORMAN born abt 1824, Jessamine co KY, married Ann Eliza CURD abt 1852. James and Ann had Mary S. b a/1853, Charles Y. b. a/1859, Robert S. b a/1862, James R. b Jan 1864, Mattie K. b. a/1867 and Fannie E. b. a/1868, have found James through the 1880 census in Jessamine co KY; 2) John DORMAN b. a/1828, m. Nannie J. a/ 1855, and had, Kitty b a/1856, Betty b. a/1858, James b. abt 1861, Emma b. abt 1866, Rose b. a/1868, and Jewell (son) b. a/1873. John was deceased by the 1880 cenus. I found Nannie J. with all the children, still in Jessamine co KY, in the 1880, but have been unable to locate any of the children in later censuses; 3) William DORMAN b. a/1830, unable to find after the 1850 census. Do these additional names appear in anyone's data base? Thanks for your help.
