I found this off of GenWeb:

Dorman, Allen married Pickett, Martha on 01 Jan 1815
There is conflicting notes on rootsweb that our Allen married both Mary Elizabeth McNeely and Martha Pickett. So what you say is true, he had two wives.

This lists my Rudolph Henry as brother to your Wiley D. Dorman. There is also a Henry Rudolph Dorman but he is I think nephew to my Rudolph Henry Dorman and son of your Wiley D. Dorman. My Rudolph Henry Dorman was b. 1819 according to my Bible records and a census had him b. about 1818.
Also, according to the 1860 Lauderdale Co., MS census, My Rudolph Henry Dorman, age 42 with wife Sarah A., is listed along side of an Allen Dorman age 32 with wife Rosina age 29. The person that took the census has the last name as "Dormand" and has the fathers switched around in the wrong household.
So who is this Allen living next to my Rudolph that was born about 1828? I thought maybe Wiley's son but too old. Has to be one of the other's son huh?
I found two Allen Dormans in the 1830 Twiggs Co., GA. One seemed younger that the other. Did our Allen have a son called Allen also? Wasn't Ephraim's name Ephraim Allen? or one of the children have the middle name of Allen?

So this could be the John that is mentioned.

He also has a son called Allen and they have Martha Pickett listed with him. Did our Allen marry twice? Or was this the marriage of the other Allen that took place in 1815?

Wrong birth date and also a son called "Allen" listed. That's why I like to verify everything I find, you just can't depend on this info.
