Hello, I am a Digby County genealogist I copy detailed accounts of deaths, marriages, shipwrecks, etc.. and convey them to the family involved. I have an account of a wedding at $20 (Canadian) between Dr. E. Arthur Dakin of Brockton, formerly of Digby, Nova Scotia to Mary A. Dorgan of Avon. Mary's bridesmaid was her sister, Julia. The article is nearly half a typed page. After the couple married they lived at 437 Columbus Avenue in Boston.
