According to "Herkimers, Holsteins and Cheese" By Judith Redline Coopey:

Jeremiah came to America in around the 1840's with two brothers - Patrick and Michael. Jeremiah married Johanna (O'Connell) Daly, a widow in 1848 in Wisconsin. Their children:
Lawrence W. b 1849 in New Jersey
Maria b 1851
Ellen
Patrick
Hannah
Katey and
Bridget.

There are 3 full pages relating to this part of the Dorgan family in the book named above, and most of the info is verified by my family records.
