Diane,
Thank's for the responce..please don't mis-understand my reply as confrontational for it has puzzeled me because I have heard several time's in the past that the line's are not connected. They all trace to one point of origin: County Cork, Ireland and Timothy Dorgan whom came to this Country via the Port of New York or Baltimore, as he died aboard the Vessel Jersey in Philidelphia (1781) for his part in our Nation's Fight for Independence. How could it be possible that these "Dorgan's" as those don't share a common thread? I would like to read Mrs. Dorgan's book for she very well may be correct....but I'm willing to bet it would be a difficult task. Hope to hear from you, would like to learn a little about the Dorgan's from the North East.
Captain: Christopher M. Dorgan
