Emma,

I am researching a John Dorgan of County Cork, Ireland. If when I received this info, I had been more Old and less foolish (rather than too young and very foolish)? I'd have a better idea of what I'm actually looking for.

This is what I know? I have an Eliza (Elizabeth?) Dorgan, b. abt. 1864 who arrived in the Boston area, supposedly with her parents, abt. 1870-90?. She eventually went on to marry a David Dempsey. All I have is a note hand scribbled that her parents were John Dorgan and (sp)Anna/Johanna etc...and John was a "butter maker" ?

I have found on the LDS website a John Dorgan, and Johanna Healy of Carrignavar, Cork, Ireland having a daughter 14 June 1864. Does any of this ring a bell with you? While writing this I just realized I could do with her, what I usually have to do with everyone I am trying to find? IE..find out where she died, check her internment records etc...Get Death and then Birth records from ? and go from there.

Let me know if you think we connect? or this is a possibility, and we'l work this out together.

Dave
