I am looking for info on a Jeremiah Dorgan who is buried in Ottawa, LaSalle Co., IL. It states he died Sept 1, 1856 aged 24 yrs. Native of Glanmire, County Cork, Ireland.
He is buried with the same stone as a William O'Connell whose mother Catherine Dorgan O'Connell is related to my ancestor Jerome O'Connell and Ellen Dorgan O'Connell. Any connection?
