Looking for any information on the Dorey family originating in Old Alresford, Hampshire. My g-g-g-g-grandfather was John Dorey born 1750 in Alresford, Hampshire.

Believed he married Elizabeth Norgett (Norgate?) in 1780, Old Alresford. They had (at least) one child - John Dorey, born 1791. That John married Jane Gibson 1811 in Old Alresford, and they had a daughter Charlotte born 1826. By 1851 they lived in Kilmeston, Hampshire. Charlotte married Joseph Woodden in 1856 at Kilmeston.

Any information on this branch of the Dorey family would be most interesting.
