Joseph Hurd/Heard and Sarah Dore/Dorr, both buried in Alton Bay, NH are my 6G Grandparents. I am trying to determine the parents of both Joseph and Sarah. Some sources show Joseph as the son of Joseph Heard of Rochester, NH, but I have no direct evidnece. Given Sarah's approximate birth year, 1752, she could be a granddaughter of Phillip Dore but I cannot make a direct connection to specific parents. She and Joseph had at least 2 children: Henry b 1787 and Mary b 1789, both born in Rochester, NH.
Can anyone help with the ancestry or descendents of Joseph and Sarah?
