Cornelius Allen died Apr 1903 in Ballyeagh, Co. Kerry Ire at the age of 102 yrs. The informant was David Dore,son-in-law. In Mar 1905, Nora Allen, widow died at age 84, in Ballyeagh, Co. Kerry, The informant was Kate Dore,grand daughter. I believe that this David Dore married Mary Allen, who was possibly the daughter of Cornelius. David & Mary may have been the parents of a possible 13 children. Mary Ellen Dore (Ellen or Nellie) immigrated to Bellingham MA in 1901 @ age 16 on the Ivernia. She was followed by sister Kate 1903, brother Patrick 1905. David Dore 52 & his son Patrick 20 arrived in 1909. All of the immigrants were born 1881-1890, all left from Queenstown to Boston, all settled in Bellingham, Norfolk Co., MA. David Dore was married but his wife Mary Allen seems to have stayed in Ballyeagh or Ballybunion.Do not know if he returned to Co Kerry. Nellie married Jeremiah J. O'Rourke in MA. The names Patrick,& Cornelius repeat in all of the Dore/Allen/ORourke family in the Bellingham MA area. I would like to know anything that will help piece together this family.
