J. Harry Dore's family were from New York, (this family of Dore' always went by their middle names) Harry married Elizabeth McCullough. Harry's fathers brother Hank was one of the first Medal of Honor winners. The family hailed from England. Much has been written about the Hornell, New York Dore's and published in the Evening Tribune. If any one is interested in the Dore, McCollough connection, let me know
