My grandfather's grandparents were from Alano, Terramo, Abruzzi. His grandfather, Luigi, married a Marie. They had 2 sons, Vincent and Nicholos. He remarried later on (I don't know the circumstances behind this) and had some daughters. Luigi was a wine maker. He was crushed when a wine barrel fell on him. The 2 boys came to America alone. Vincent is my grandfather's father. He died May 1, 1945. Hope this helps.
