Searched for several years trying to locate parents and siblings of John DOPPS and still empty handed. I have a vast amount of descendents but no ancestors prior to John.
Barbara Helmick was the daughter of Jacob Helmick and Sarah Teter. Jacob Helmick was the son of Jacob E Helmick and Barbara Boroughs (a Tschudi descendent). I have a lot on these families.
John DOPPS and his family moved to Ohio and onto Norton Kansas. Several of his children went farther west into Oregon and Washington states. At present cousins still reside in Kansas. John DOPPS first born son was named John Poulston DOPPS. Does the POULSTON name ring a bell to anyone.
