Dan,
The family of Peter Dopp, age 45 in the Van Buren Co MI 1850 census, is as follows: Isabel age 43, Amos age 17, James age 15, Benjamin age 9, Joseph age 7, Margaret age 78, and also in the home was James Dopp age 37. Peter, Isabel, Amos, and James were born in NY; Benjamin and Joseph were born in MI; Margaret and James were born in NY. I believe that Margaret was born a Phelps and was the wife of Jacobus Dop b 1768. Do you have anything beyond Jacobus and Margaret Phelps Dop or Dopp?
