Did the death obit mention any daughter named Searcy,Percy.? I have been searching for years for a doom that married Jacob Douglas.My great grandfather was b. in Obion, or Weakley Co. Tn.in 1847.He came to Southern Il. and joined the Civil War, married a Jackson,Co, Il. girl, then they went to Hickman, Co. Ky. in the 1870's. His wife died in Hickman, Co. Ky. and he came back to Jackson, co. Il. and remarried and stayed till he died in 1913. His name was Winfield Scott Douglas. I got a his parents name from imformation he put on a marriage cert. Just can't Make out for sure his mothers first name. The person who wrote it spelled Dume, but it was Doom i believe. Thanks Betty
