Allen,
I do not understand how the family can permit the destruction of Henry Doom's gravesite. I just visited the site of Henry Doom's grave. The one thing that really made me and my mother mad was the way the stones were tossed to the side and that the cows were walking all over them. I know that the owner of the farm is related. But I do not understand him being able to get away with destroy the site. There is not much I can do! I live in Italy! I did try and connect the police department while I was there, but they are not in on Sundays.
And Stephen Doom headstone needs to be put back upright.
Where is Mary Doom buried, I was not able to locate her stone?

The reunion is held on Memorial Day, or the old Southern "Decoration Day." There is a picnic and gathering at the cemetary on
Monday, May 28, 2001. Eatin' starts at noon with a "business meeting" held prior. The business has to do with the upkeep and
preservation of our family cemetary and the chapel. The Saturday prior to that Monday is a work day to clean up, pick up, and
spruce up the grounds.
Family members from all across the country attend and anyone descended from the Doom's are invited and welcome. Bring
some food and a few lawn chairs and visit with long distant cousins. It is a unique opportunity and wonderful experience. Come
on! It's your family.
