The will of Benjamin Doom, dated 18 Dec 1853, probated 13 Feb 1854 names wife Cassandra, sons James M. Doom and W H Doom, daughter Elizabeth McCown, and grandson Benjamin Doom, son of J.M., and son-in-law David William Phillips, in trust for grandson William David Phillips. (my note: in the will the son W H Doom is also referred to in another place as Dr. H W Doom, and not W H )

Cassandra Phillips Doom, wife of Benjamin,had no will, but an inventory and appraisal were recorded on 18 July 1868, no heirs listed.
