Harvey and Emily Doolittle, Settlers of the Sufferers Land of Ohio

I have posted a review of "History of the Fire-Lands," published in 1879 by WW Williams on the "Firelands History Website": http://firelands.wordpress.com.
Included in this book is a biography of Harvey and Emily (nee Wheeler) Doolittle, who settled in the Firelands of Northwestern Ohio in 1845. Also included are their portraits and an illustration of their residence.
The Firelands, or Sufferers' Land, was set aside for "Sufferers" in Connecticut whose homes were burned by the British during the American Revolution. It includes present day Huron, Erie, Ottawa, and Ashland Counties in Ohio.
My post includes a short synopsis of "History of the Fire-Lands" and the Table of Contents with links to the free on-line book's histories, biographies and illustrations of the pioneers and their families.
I invite you to check out this interesting biography of Harvey and Emily Doolittle and other pioneers of the Firelands.
