Taken from Tazewell County Board of Supervisors Records:
5 Sept 1844 -- Pay $40.00 to Wm DOOLITTLE as soon as Anorton Braley certify that DOOLITTLE has completed bridge across the head of DOOLITTLE's Mill.

03 Dec 1844 -- Wm DOOLITTLE - be allowed $15.00 in addition to a Form for building a bridge at Chapman's Mill

Thursday 8 Dec 1847 -- I(J) B. DOULITTLE is hereby authorized to expund the sum of $25.00 in the work on the road from Pekin to Dillon commencing at the end of E. Leonard's lane and ending at Roofs (Kaops) Distillery.

J. B. DOOLITTLE $21.30; I HUNSUCKER $1.50 and I. Boryhill $2.00
