Mrs. Conway Succumbs

LOWELL - The many friends of Mrs. Catherine E. (Doolin) Conway, wife of Daniel F. Conway, and a former well known resident of the Sacred Heart parish where she had resided at 48 Sidney street for over 50 years, died yesterday afternoon at St. John's hospital.

For the past year Mrs. Conway had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Mary Sullivan, of 124 Ludlam street. She was born in Lowell, the daughter of the late Timothy and the later Catherine (Feriter) Doolin. She was a member of the Holy Rosary sodality of the Sacred Heart church and a member of the League of Catholic Women.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel F. Conway; five daughters, Miss Catherine A. Conway, Mrs. Bartholomew Kane and Mrs. Mary Sullivan, all of Lowell, Mrs. Joseph McHugh of Woburn and Mrs. Albert O'Quinn of Agawam; two sons, Frederick E. Conway of Hamden, Conn. and Arthur T. Conway of Lowell, 12 grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
