My grandfather - Denis Doody - born Dec 24 1879. His parents were John Doody and Johanna Dennehy.

My grandfather's cousins
Margaret --- born Sept 3 1979 (parents Denis Doody and Nora Sullivan
Martin Doody - born Nov. 17 1881 (parents - the same Denis Doody and different wife - Mary Sullivan.
This same Denis (a blacksmith) was married four times.
Godparents in the register for the above are:Denis Doody, Bridget Sullivan,William Doody & Eliza Dennehy; William Murphy and Hanora Dennehy; Arthur Keeffe & Abbey Doody; Denis O'Keeffe &Mary Doody; Jeremiah O'Keeffe & Hanora Browne; Thomas Scanlon & Eliza Barry; Cornelius Connell & Bessie Sullivan. The births were probably all registered in Newmarket, Kanturk, Cork.
Julia Doody (1878) was called Bella and married in NYC to a man named Huban. She died 3/14/1954. My grandfather Denis died in 1939.
I hear that some of the family went to Australia. I believe there was also a Patrick, but I have no record.
Stagmount is also an area of Rock Chapel. It is on Julia's birth certificate, which I have. I have all of he above, seal-raised baptism certificates.
