I have a great grandmother, Mary A Donovan that I am researching. The A may stand for Arline. She came from county Cork. She married a Patrick Francis Xavier Crowley, also from Cork, after the Civil War. She had a daughter she named Johanna. I don't know anything else but the dates seemed to click.
