Jeremiah Donovan was born 04/08/1840 he was the son of Jeremiah Donovan and Margaret ? Donovan,His parents emigrated fron Ireland.
Jeremiah married Johanna Hourihan ciera 1860
in Sussex NB Canada,They had eight children.
Denis (b)1861,John 1864,Timothy 1866,mike 1868,Jeremiah 05/01/1871 ,James 1873,Mary Ann 1875,
and Margaret 1877 these are baptisimal dates.
The boys were all born in Sussex NB area and the two girls were born on Fredericton Rd,
Westmorland Co NB.
Johanna died on 12/12/1878 perhaps from Pneumonia but not certain.
Jeremiah re-married to Margaret McDevitt on 11/05/1882 and some time later they moved to Melrose Mass with most of the children,I have Jeremiahs citizenship papers which said he arrived in Boston on 04/27/1893,he was a rubber worker and lived at 57 Whitter ST Melrose Mass,He took out his citizenship on 09/13/1906.
Jeremiah son of Jermiah emmigrated to Groveton NH on 10/01/1892 and he then moved to Melrose Mass and lived at 25 Gibbons St Melrose MA,he took his citizenship 09/13/1906,
If any one has any information it would be greatly appreciated as I am doing a genealogy.
I feel the whole family went to the Melrose area.
