Donovans Cape Breton, Ingonish?

Am searching for the Donovans' from Ingonish, Cape Breton,
Not sure which 'part' of the clan, only that my grandmothers mother was Elizabeth (Lizzie) Donovan who married Capt. John Martin, and resided in Dartmouth/Halifax. Capt died and left Lizzie with numerous children, Their oldest daughter Margaret married Capt. Leander Cook(e),.
I do know that Lizzie received a stipend from the Gov. for tha sale of the family lands, the site that is now CB Highlands??

Anything............anyone?
