Looking for any Dononvan's that may be related to Catherine Donovan, born in 1840 in County Kilkenny, the parish of Urlingford. Catherine married James O'Donnell from County Tipperary. They apparently met and married in New York, although it seems that James may have been in Boston as well at some time prior to this.

Their first son John T. O'Donnell was born in New York. They had four more children, James, Joseph, Catherine and Susannah - all born in San Francisco from 1866-1869.

I am anxious to find out more about the Donovan side of my family. I know very little about them and am hoping that knowing the parish and county will help to track them down.
