I am looking for any information about Michael Donovan, who married Margaret Agan about 1788 in Ireland. Their daughter, Ellen (Helen) Donovan/Donaven married Patrick Meagher on 29 April 1828 in Jeune Lorette, Quebec (the Jacques Cartier valley west of Quebec City). Their daughter, Ellen Meagher is my great-great-grandmother. Any information about the Irish in the Jacques Cartier valley or Portneuf County would be appreciated. Thank you.
