Iam related to Jeremiah "Jerry" Donovan b)1821 in Ireland..came to America in 1849 we believe through New Orleans with one or two others. Eventually settled in Janesville, Wi..Rock Co...southern Wi..(m)Mary Long..1st child born 1859, John Edward, Ellen"nellie" 1860,Margaret"Maggie"1865,Dennis J.1866,Wm. Francis 1868, Mary Therese 1871, Nora 1876. I feel Jerry came with a couple of siblings and I thought there might be some connection. His son Johns' family settled in the Milwaukee area and are buried in Calvary Cem. there and they were parishioners at Immaculate Conception. Jerry and the rest of the family moved to Chicago about 1892 but all except John were buried back in Janesville when they died. If you ever run across any similarities please let me know.
