So glad I found someone who appreciates my hobby!
Can't believe that Ellen was the first Donovan child to emmigrate from Ireland to the US in 1825 with her parents.
What a find!
The only thing I can think of is to send a copy of the bible to places like the state Archives, libraries where Ellen had lived in the states so others can find the information. Or post it to the internet.
I love to go to ebay and look thru the bibles. I don't look up every bible, just the ones that look interesting to me. I then go thru Rootsweb and Genforum to notify possible relatives. These bibles are such a find!
I notified the Day family relatives this past week. The people in the bibles aren't documented much on the internet. There were 2 bibles. One was from the parents.
A gold mine.
Someday maybe someday I'll have a relative bible on Ebay. Been looking 4 years now.
