I am looking for a Sarah Donovan born in Kentuchy in about 1803. She married Thomas Sims 9from Virginia)in 1822 and they had a few children in Ohio, including my g-g-g-grandpa Jeremiah C. Sims in 1830. They then moved the family to Missouri and possibly lived in Kentucky again at some time. I believe after her husbands's death in the 1870's, Sarah moved to live with a W.J. Dorsey in Kentucky - possibly a grandson. Sarah is mentioned in the KY 1880 census as Sarah Sims. Her husband Thomas was a physician and served on the Union side in the Civil War. Other possible children besides Jeremiah are Emeline, Mary, Julia, and Thomas (all Sims). On the Census info. I found, it is stated that Sarah's mother was born in Pennsylvania and her father was born in Kentucky.
