Hello again Anne Donovan Sellers: I have also found that census entry. It appears that they are my father and step-mother; however father's age is incorrect, he was 29 in 1930; however he had lied about his age consistently. The age of Marjorie is correct. William was a building contractor, so painter is probably correct. He later became a mechanical engineer.
