My gggrandfather Soloman Donovan spelled his name Donovan on his marriage to Rebecca Wollett in Fairfield Co., Ohio.Their son Philip spelled it Dunivon on his son Dayton's death certificate. From there on the family has been spelling it Dunifon. My mother is a grandaughter of Phillip and Rebecca.
