Catherine O'Donavan Rossa-/Co. Cork/ late 1800s

My great-great-great-grandmother is Catherine O'Donovan Rossa. She is Jeremiah O'Donovan Rossa's sister. My knowledge, and my family's, is very limited of her backround. Everyone knows Jeremiah's story concerning the Fenians, but that is as far as it goes for us. My g-g-grandmother destroyed any documents about the family for some personal reason of hers. That act of destruction has left my family searching for knowledge. My point is, does anyone have information going futher back than just Jeremiah and Catherine? Like who were their parents? Grandparents? Were there other syblings? etc. Of the few things I do know, I can say she was sent to America for protection, thus I am looking for any information before she left Ireland. Thank you for your help.

PS - I don't know if this has to do with Donovan info, but I know I am also decended from Daniel Boone. Is there a connection between them? Then again, I do have other relatives.
