Researching my father; William Lawrence Donovan, and grandfather William Donovan. My father was born Aug 1898 or 1900 in Salt Lake, Utah. Both father and grandfather resided in E. Granby, Ct. from 30's to 50's.
My father was in WW1, WW2, and Army Guard at Buckley Field. I have visited E. Granby two times, 1998, and 1999. I spoke to two towns people and they remembered my father William Lawrence Donovan. He married in 1934 in Lowell, Mass. I visited both father and grandfather during the 40's. Last time I saw my father was in 1956. I have been looking for information for past 30 years to no avail. Grandmother's name was Flora E. Donovan. If anyone knows of either person please contact me. Thank you in advance.
