I have no DONOR/DONNER/DONNOR, etc. in my family, but I live in Shelby Co., TN. This message concerns a tombstone of Samuel Donor b 1852 d Sept 26, 1860
son of Wm R. and N. C. Donor.

The tombstone of Samuel is part of a cemetery at the crossing of two heavily travelled roads. It could be destroyed, as a result of growth of the city of Collierville, but the Town of Collierville would like to see it remain as part of the Greenbelt.

I am trying to find anyone who may have any knowledge of a DONOR family living in Shelby Co TN.

There is a picture of the tombstone in our local paper about a year ago, and as of yet, I haven't followed up on the story, so I don't know what has become of this tombstone/cemetery.
