Absalam Donner married Lucretia Covey in 1827 in LeRoy, McLean Co., Illinois. Lucretia was the granddaughter of my g4m's brother, Walter Covey. My g4m was Hannah Covey Carley and her youngest daughter Adeline Carley married Ezekiel Cady. They settled Palatine, Cook Co., Illinois in 1837. Ezekiel's cousin, Charles L. Cady, son of Stoddard Cady, was a member of the second rescue effort for the Donner Party in 1846/7. Was Absalam related to Greenberry?
