I recently received the marriage record for my great-grandparents, Patrick Donnelly and Sarah Woods. They were married on November 7th, 1895 at St. Mary's Clontibret Church in County Monaghan. Patrick's father was listed as Thomas Donnelly, and Sarah's was listed as Edward Woods. Both Patrick and Thomas were carpenters, and Edward was a labourer. They all resided in the town of Cavancreevy. The witnesses to the marriage were Thomas McNaughton and Maggie Holland.
This is the only record showing the spelling of our last name as "Donnelly", not "Donnolly". Hope to hear from other relations soon.
Thank-you,
Rosemary Donnolly
