I look at all the postings and I can not help but think that we Donnellys are all somehow related. Ireland is not that big a country that there were that many different Donnelly families started independely of each other. I do know some Donnellys came here in the 1700's. The vast majority seem to have come here in the 1840's during the patato famine. The problem is so many records were lost as our ancestors made there way in this new land. To help us reunite the clan I will be starting a web page on beseen.com. As I receive information I will list the various family trees and perhaps we can start to make the connections. Foe the sake of our future generations and the memory of ancestors we should bring the clan back together. Philip Donnelly
